HealthTech Tunisia, a startup specialized in telemedicine solutions, announces a record fundraising round of 2 million euros to develop its remote consultation platform. This funding, led by a consortium of European and local investors, represents one of the largest in the digital health sector in Tunisia.

Founded in 2020, HealthTech Tunisia has experienced remarkable growth, with over 50,000 active users and 500 partner doctors on its platform. The startup offers video consultations, remote medical monitoring, and an integrated online pharmacy.

"This fundraising will allow us to accelerate our development and strengthen our presence in North Africa," explains Dr. Sami Ben Ammar, founder and CEO of HealthTech Tunisia.

Expansion Prospects

With these new funds, HealthTech Tunisia plans to expand to Algeria and Morocco by the end of 2024, and develop new features such as artificial intelligence for diagnostic assistance and chronic disease management.
